Christie is fascinated by life sized stories. Originally from Armstrong, BC, Christie spent many of her formative years learning about theatre from the talented artists at Asparagus theatre and Caravan Farm Theatre. These early experiences not only cultivated a discerning aesthetic within her, but also served to develop her technical skills and ninja like stage management style. Some of her favorite Asparagus credits include Rabbit in, Wind in the Willows; Stage Manager for, Goodnight Disgrace and Tracey in, Little Sister. With inspired enthusiasm, Christie expanded her theatre involvement into the arena of Theatre BC festivals where she earned recognition for her contributions both on and off the stage. She was also awarded the Jesse Richardson Scholarship from Theatre BC in 2001 to further her theatrical training

Christie continued on to the University of Lethbridge where she graduated with great distinction to receive her Multidiscipline BFA in theatre. A few of her Albertan highlights include Julie Jordan in "Carousel" (LMT) and Sunna in,"Unity (1918)" (U of L)

Now that the long cold winters are behind her, Christie is thrilled to find herself in Vancouver amongst such a plethora of innovative and dedicated artists. Since arriving, Christie has had the joy of apprenticing with Pacific theatre for season where she performed as Pearl in, You Still Can't, and as a vocalist for the Stonesthrow Musical Revue, Vintage Valentine. She has also been blessed to work as the ASM for Demon Voice (Touchstone) and for the Wrecking Ball (Vogue Theatre)

Christie is excited to be part of this production of 'Night, Mother and for the opportunity to work with such good company. She would like to thank her roommate and her cat for their exceptional cheerleading skills and you for continuing to support the Arts in BC!
